A mama bear out in Asheville, North Carolina proved the other day that playgrounds don't have to just be for human enjoyment.

Betsie Stockslager Emry, a fourth grade teacher, shared video of a mama bear teaching her cub how to go down a playground slide, then celebrating when it slides down.

First, the mom climbed up to the highest slide on the playground, and slid down. The cub followed her to the top of the playground, but seemed hesitant with the height.

So, mama runs to the shortest slide to encourage and catch her baby.

The cub makes his way down the slide, and the mom jumps up onto the slide to play with him and congratulate him.

“I LOVE how the mama goes down the big slide and quickly runs to the smaller slide- only to BEAR HUG the little one as they make it to the bottom,” Emry wrote on Facebook.
