To be totally honest with you, I'm not big into April Fools' Day, or even pranks in general. I'm a terrible liar, so it makes me anxious when I attempt to play a joke on somebody. It's so bad that I can't stand to watch pranking videos or shows like "Impractical Jokers!"

That being said, Brain and I still wanted to do a little something for today's holiday, so we thought it would be fun to do an unusual taste test. Essentially, we played a prank on ourselves!

Earlier this week, I ordered a bag of candy online, but I didn't tell Brain what exactly the candy was. It wasn't until just before the live taste test that I revealed we would be eating jelly beans. What kind? That was for Brain to guess! Since we played the (horrific) game Beanboozled in the past, he was concerned that the jelly beans would be flavors like grass or vomit. I promised that the candy was food-flavored, but I couldn't promise that it would taste good. Spoiler alert: it didn't.

We ended up trying five flavors of the Brach's Taco Truck Jelly Beans: salsa, margarita, guacamole, churro, and BEEF TACO. Yes, a beef-flavored jelly bean. The margarita and churro ones weren't terrible, but the rest were inedible. The only flavor we didn't try was the horchata one, because neither of us have ever had actual horchata before. You can watch our blind taste test of all five flavors below:

I don't recommend them, but if for some reason you REALLY want to try the Taco Truck Jelly Beans, I ordered them from CVS's website. I'm sure there are other sites and stores you can find them, too, though. Good luck...
