Everybody wins on Miracle Treat Day!

Mark your calendar for October 28th! Dairy Queen has declared that Miracle Treat Day will return this Thursday at locations all over the country. What is Miracle Treat Day, you ask? Well, the Dairy Queen website says:

"For every Blizzard® Treat sold on Miracle Treat Day at participating DQ® locations, $1 or more will be donated to your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital."

Here in Eastern Iowa, that hospital is the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City. We work closely with the hospital and the Children's Miracle Network each fall with our annual Radiothon, so we know firsthand how important every fundraiser is for both kids and their families. Every dollar counts!

If you'd like to pick up a Blizzard at a local Dairy Queen on Thursday, participating locations in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City areas include:

  • 100 Center Point Rd, Hiawatha
  • 3304 1st Ave NE
  • 501 16th St NE
  • 2843 Mount Vernon Rd SE
  • 2825 Johnson Ave NW
