You feel like challenging yourself today? Try and come up with a list of your favorite country songs of 2020!

It's only September, but this year had been jam-packed with amazing country music. I think quarantine has a lot of artists creating a ton of new content, because, really, what else is there to do? At least something good has come out of all this chaos...

This morning, just for fun, I sat down and tried to come up with a list of my favorite country songs of 2020. I think my final draft had 17 songs on it. I did my best to narrow it down to just ten, but I had to leave a few great ones out. I just want to give a quick shout out to Brett Eldredge, Kane Brown, and Lady A for putting out some wonderful tracks this year, even though I didn't include them in the top ten.

Also, there were lots of songs that I wanted to include on my list, but I didn't because they were technically released on albums that came out in 2019 (sorry Luke Combs and Miranda Lambert!). That helped me narrow things down even further, but it was still difficult.

Without further ado, here are my top 10 favorite country songs of 2020 (so far!), in no particular order:

  • Starting Over - Chris Stapleton
  • Skeletons - Brothers Osborne
  • Lady Like - Ingrid Andress
  • Stick That in Your Country Song - Eric Church
  • Redwood Tree - Cam
  • Everybody Loves You - The Chicks
  • Dreamsicle - Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit
  • Die From a Broken Heart - Maddie & Tae
  • Shut Up Sheila - Ashley McBryde
  • More Than My Hometown - Morgan Wallen
