Shueyville native, Hailey Whitters, is a country superstar on the rise. She's been blowing up recently thanks to several big projects and collaborations.

In November, fans of the hit show Yellowstone might remember when a Hailey Whitters song was featured on the program. Her 2015 track 'Black Sheep' played during the first few minutes of an episode this season.

And then there was yet another exciting Yellowstone connection with the country star that happened this year! Luke Grimes, also known on the show as Kayce Dutton, helped her tease new music that has since been released.

Her recent album Raised came out on March 18th. This new body of work is described as, "a cinematic rendering of her upbringing in Shueyville" according to Vulture.

This album release coincides with a major career milestone for the artist. Last November, a song that Whitters helped co-write was nominated for a Grammy.

The song, a duet featuring Brandi Carlile and Alicia Keys called, 'A Beautiful Noise' was nominated for Song of the Year. Whitters collaborated with Keys, Carlile, Brandy Clark, Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, Linda Perry and Ruby Amanfu on the track.

This actually marks her very first Grammy nomination! Whitters shared photos of her very first time attending the awards show on her social media channels.

The Grammy-nominated artist will be making a return to the Hawkeye State sooner, rather than later. Whitters is wrapping up her first headlining tour in her hometown. The Heartland Tour will officially conclude with two shows at DanceMor Ballroom in Swisher.
