Hazzard County Saloon in downtown Cedar Rapids is closed on Sunday night but that didn't stop someone below from going in and robbing the place. The suspect in the photos below broke into the popular country bar at 402 2nd Avenue S.E. just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday night.

According to a post on their Facebook page, the perpetrator broke the window, grabbed the entire cash drawer, and fled. Thankfully, Hazzard reports "there was only a few dollars in there."

If anyone recognizes this suspect who might've pilfered enough for a 6-pack of Pepsi, please call the Cedar Rapids Police Department at (319) 286-5738.

This break-in follows one at Last Hope Animal Rescue on 16th Ave. late Wednesday or early Thursday of last week. On Friday, the rescue organization posted on Facebook that they've added "security measures to ensure the continued safety of our animals and volunteers at the adoption center."
