Jaymz Larson To Re-Open Red’s as New Owner

Jaymz Larson, host of the KRNA Radio morning show (our sister station at KDAT), has announced his entrance into a new business venture, revealing that he will be re-opening Red's Public House, the downtown bar that just closed down days ago.

Jaymz can't keep a secret to save his life, and spilled the beans to a Gazette reporter on Friday afternoon.

The new bar is to be called Jimmy Z's and will have a radio/TV vibe. Maybe the bathrooms should look like recording studios.

Larson envisions a happy hour crowd at Jimmy Z's, a place for an after work hangout. It would be a natural as a weekend destination going to downtown concerts and events.

There are plans for food to be served, including pizza and breakfast.

One thing we know is likely: Jimmy Z's will probably have the best jukebox in town.
