Listen to the First Radio Report From 2:30 A.M. on D-Day – 75 years Ago

It's the 75th anniversary of D-Day, when the Allied forces landed at Normandy in World War Two, then kicked the Nazis out of France. It was a major reason we won World War Two.

I first heard this in the Ken Burns, Lynn Novick World War II documentary titled 'The War' and as a radio guy, I thought it was worth showing you. I get chills just listening to it.
