Recently this street sign went up here at KDAT/Plaza 425/GTC.

Tom Aller, a retired Alliant Energy exec, made a huge impact on Cedar Rapids downtown devepment for 40+ years. He was involved in Ground Transportation Center and I-380 projects to name a few.

It's a nice honor for Aller, who joins C.R. sports starts Zach Johnson and Kurt Warner in the "named street" club.

We have alot going on construction-wise here at 4th & 2nd. The GTC was recently renovated and the area around the "Rapids" sculpture is getting a complete makeover. Next time you stop in to pick up some tickets, you'll see some changes.
