The holidays are over and winter is here, which means the list of events happening here in Eastern Iowa has gotten much smaller. That's ok, though! There are still a few fun activities happening this weekend. Here's a list of events for this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:

  • 2020 Downtown Hot Cocoa Crawl

    • January 17th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
    • "A ticket purchase will include a customized hot cocoa mug, a small gift, an ICDD tote bag, and access to the sales and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic will be available) at each participating shop. This event is for all ages. If you are under 21, you will still receive a customized glass and there will be non-alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy, such as regular hot cocoa, apple cider and more!"

  • BINGO Night at Lowe Park

    • January 17th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - doors at 6 p.m.
    • "Join the Marion Parks and Recreation Department at the Lowe Park Arts & Environment Center for a night of fun, socializing, and a chance to win some cash! Games of BINGO will be played for $.25 per card, per game. Cash prizes are paid to the winner of each game. There will also be a few bonus games with increased payouts. The night will conclude with a winner-take-all game of blackout."
