Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!

Wednesday, April 22 marks opening night and the first of 15 scheduled races at the Southern Iowa Speedway, on the Mahaska County Fairgrounds, in Oskaloosa.

2020 admission for these Wednesday night races is great and inexpensive family fun. Children 5 and under get in for FREE, kids 6-15 will be only $3, Active military and retired veterans will be admitted for only $5, adults 16 & up will be admitted for the low price of only $8.

The Wednesday night schedule is tentative and subject to change, as follows: April 29, May 6, May 13, May 20, May 27, June 17, June 24, July 1, July and July 15.

Race times start with the opening of the pit gates at 5 p.m., grandstands open at 5:30, draw closes at 7 followed by hot laps and the race begins at 7:30 p.m

Special events include the Caleb Hammond Memorial Race July 22, season championship July 29, and Fall Challenge October 16-17.
