Lattes and donuts and Blizzards, oh my!

Yes, we know it's only August, but fall fever has officially begun! I wish I could say I was still enjoying summer, but I'm not. I'm ready for sweaters, apple picking, Halloween, cheaper electric bills, and being able to leave my house without constantly looking like I was just pushed in a pool. A sure sign that fall is on the way is the kids going back to school, but I'd say another big one is the return of pumpkin-flavored everything!

This morning I read that Dairy Queen would be bringing back their Pumpkin Pie Blizzard for the 27th year in a row. The Blizzard, which consists of vanilla ice cream, pumpkin pie, nutmeg, and whipped cream, will return to DQ on September 3rd this year. I've never had one, but it looks delicious:

Speaking of pumpkin, Today reports:

"Dunkin' Donuts has announced that its autumn menu will be available at stores nationwide no later than Aug. 27."

Their fall menu consists of pumpkin and maple pecan-flavored coffees, as well as pumpkin-flavored doughnuts and muffins.

And now, the item you've been waiting for: the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. When will Starbucks launch their legendary drink? Well, according to Business Insider and "internal documents," it will debut on August 28th, just one day after Dunkin' Donuts. That's about a week earlier than in 2017.

I typically have just one pumpkin-flavored beverage every fall, and I usually go for the Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino at Starbucks. It never disappoints.

Be on the lookout for new pumpkin-flavored products this year! There are always some weird ones out there...
