The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a flood warning for the Quad City area. A flood warning was issued for the Wapsipinicon River near DeWitt which also affects Scott and Clinton counties.

The NWSQC is forecasting moderate flooding.The river expected to rise to 11.8 feet Thursday. According to the QCTimes.com at 11.5 feet flood waters affect homes along highway 61 and at 12 feet flooding affects homes along the river between Wheatland and Calamus.
