You may have heard over the weekend that Prince made a pit stop in the Quad cities. But it wasn't for a concert or one of those famous loose meat sandwiches.

Food was probably the last thing on Prince's mind.

The artist had been suffering from the flu for the past few weeks and had actually postponed several concert dates. The flu like symptoms returned as he was flying back to Minneapolis following a Friday night concert in Atlanta.

The pilot made an emergency landing at Quad Cities International Airport in Moline and the singer was rushed to a local hospital. He was treated and released and returned home that same night. He is reportedly doing just fine and is now feeling better.
