Now that coronavirus vaccines are becoming more available, some big summer events will be returning to the state of Iowa! It was just revealed yesterday that the Great Jones County Fair in Monticello is officially happening in July (including the Grandstand concerts), and now we're hearing about the return of a popular Iowa music festival!

The Hinterland Music Festival announced yesterday that this year's event is set to take place August 6th through 8th in St. Charles, Iowa. Because the festival had to be cancelled last year, many of the artists from the 2020 lineup are still set to take the stage in 2021, as well as a few new additions. Here is the official lineup:

The organizers behind the Hinterland Music Festival are making a few changes to the event, thanks to the pandemic. An update on their website reads:

"In order to make Hinterland a safe, responsible experience for everyone, we’ve redesigned the festival to be socially distanced with reduced attendance and safety protocols."

If you'd like to read more on the new safety guidelines, you can check out the safety page HERE.

Tickets for the Hinterland Music Festival will go on sale this Friday, March 19th at 10 a.m. Because of the limited capacity, only 3-day passes will be available at this time. You can get more information and see the prices HERE.
