Airline travel gets busier by nature this time of year with the holidays coming up.

The next few days at Eastern Iowa Airport, it's going to be even worse, as KCRG reports equipment failures are causing longer lines at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security checkpoints.

The airport suggests you arrive at least an hour and a half prior to your plane departure until further notice. The equipment issue may not be resolved, say airport officials, until at least Wednesday.

To make your trip and your airport experience this holiday season even safer and easier, follow the general rules laid out by the TSA.
