Food delivery companies here in Iowa seem to be popping all over the place lately. I've heard of Bite Squad, Uber Eats, 535-FAST and a few others. I've always wanted to give them a shot but I have a few concerns.

First off, the expense. There will obviously be a charge attached to my order. I'm cheap and I already eat out WAY too much. This type of service is different from the traditional pizza delivery. And how do they keep the food warm? I assume they have some fancy warmers or something but it seems risky to me.

Because I don't want cold food. If that's the case, I'd rather just eat something out of my fridge. And if it is cold, who do I call? The place who made it or the person that delivered it? I know it doesn't sound like that big of a deal but it is!

**But there have been so many times I've been laying on the couch craving a food that doesn't deliver. Things like Red Lobster biscuits or some brisket from Q-Dogs BBQ. I'm always hesitant to pick up the phone.....but that's about to change!

This week, I plan to take the plunge and order in. I need YOU to tell me who does it best. I'm asking for your suggestions on what delivery service I should try right here in Eastern Iowa.

I'll give it a shot and write a follow up to this story. Comment below and we'll discuss your comments and suggestions. I thank you in advance for your help!

I'm assuming the station will reimburse me for this experiment, right?
