A New App Let’s People Make Decisions For You

I like to think I'm pretty laid back...but if I'm being super honest, I'm a bit of a control freak.  I can go with the flow...when I choose to.  I can let the chips fall where they may...if I decide to.

But for the most part I am the decider.  It's not a "power" thing, it's a patience thing.  I decide what to do so we don't have that awkward back & forth of "no you decide where to eat."  I'll ask politely and when I get no response I'll give you 2 places to choose.  Both of which I'm in favor of but I'm clearly rooting for a specific winner.

Decisions are hard for most people.  But would you give up the ability to choose for monetary gain?

There's an app called NewNew that lets you charge people $5 to vote and make choices for you . . . like what to have for lunch, or who to go out on a date with. Then you just do whatever gets the most votes.

In a world of YouTubers and Influencers...it's a way to make some extra money.  DJ's can't do it unfortunately because getting money to play songs is kinda illegal.  The cocaine cowboys of the 70's ruined that for us.

NewNew is the brainchild of Los Angeles-based entrepreneur Courtne Smith. The app, which is still in its "beta" or pre-full release stage, describes itself as "a human stock market where you buy shares in the lives of real people, in order to control their decisions and watch the outcome". -BBC
