Our friends at CID are doing what they can to make sure we all stay safe during the craziness that's going on in our world right now.

According to KWWL, "The staff at the Eastern Iowa Airport  (CID) implemented additional safety measures this week to better protect the health and safety of their passenger during the pandemic."

One of the new rules the story talked about was that ALL staff members will be required to wear a mask while on the grounds. If passengers need a mask, there are plenty of disposable masks available for folks that that visit the airport.

The staff at CID will also increase the cleaning at the airport and will also be asked to self-screen before going to work. These measures are all being taken to protect the passengers that come through the Eastern Iowa Airport.

If you fly in the next few weeks, you will also see that there are protective glass shields at the guest service desk. There will also be additional signage to remind all passengers to remember to social distance.

Let's hope that this will all be over with soon and we can get back to normal in the next few months. Special thanks to the entire staff at CID for keeping all of the travelers safe during the pandemic.
