Ahhh, Labor Day. A day/weekend (for some) to take time off from laboring, ironically. Sadly, even if you're not working your regular job, we've been laboring in a different unwanted way lately and will need a break by the first weekend of September.

We hope you didn't put your headbands, leg warmers, Jordache jeans and Members-Only jackets too far back into storage from the 4th of July weekend. You'll be wanting to break them out again soon!

Back by popular demand, the "KDAT Feel-Good '80s Weekend"! After its successful run over the 4th of July, we're going to jump back in the DeLorean and go to Kokomo to play the biggest hits (and forgotten gems) of your favorite decade once again, all Labor Day weekend long. Even harder to believe is that it's already coming up this weekend.

It's been a bummer of summer in many ways, between the pandemic canceling almost everything fun and Mother Nature unfortunately taking care of the rest. The "Feel-Good '80s Weekend" will return and lighten your mood, we hope.

In the meantime, don't miss our NEW special feature at 11:15 every Monday through Friday. Dupaco Community Credit Union sponsors our spotlight on the '80s with a specially-chosen "tubular track" known as the "Amazing '80s". It's bodacious!
