KDAT Introduces Our Final Top Teacher Of The School Year

The final KDAT Top Teacher is from Prairie Heights Elementary School in the College Community School District. Congratulations to Ben Feight.

He was nominated by Elisabeth Kissling, who shared these kind words with us:

Ben is truly an inspiring teacher both inside and outside of the classroom. During snow days when school was cancelled he created videos with activities for his students to do at home to keep them learning. He uses unconventional rewards to engage students such as letting them shave his beard or wearing make-up that they apply for the day. He just started a podcast about technology and education called "Tech in a Sec" to share tech in the classroom ideas with other teachers. Supporting his students is always on his mind and he goes above and beyond to inspire students to learn!
