John Tesh Earns Hall of Fame Induction

Radio & Television Business Report has revealed the class of 2019's Radio Hall of Fame and one of KDAT's most beloved voices is among them.

Backtrax USA's Kid Kelly made the cut last year, but narrowly missing out was the legendary host of "Intelligence For Your Life", John Tesh. This year, we can say congratulations to John for joining this talented group of broadcasters.

His shows are heard six days a week here on our airwaves, Monday-Friday from 7 p.m. to midnight, Sunday mornings from 8-11 a.m. and Sunday afternoons from 3-8 p.m.

He announced in 2017 that he was courageously fighting cancer and later went into remission.

He joins an elite class in the Hall of Fame this year including Hollywood Hamilton, Ryan Seacrest, sportscaster Jim Rome and Dr. Ruth Westheimer. Kevin Ryder & Gene "Bean" Baxter of the Kevin and Bean Show, along with Harry Harrison and Joe Madison round out the list.
