The National Radio Hall of Fame inductees have been announced, and while two KDAT hosts had been nominated, only one has made the cut this year.

Congratulations to Kid Kelly, host of "Backtrax USA",  a show featuring the best music of the '80s and '90s, airing Saturday nights from 8 p.m. to midnight on 104.5 KDAT.

He beat out several other nominees in the category of "Music Format On-Air Personality", including fellow KDAT regular John Tesh. It was a bit of a bummer for Tesh not to make it this year, but we are proud to be associated with both of them, and wish Tesh better luck next year. We're sure he'll make it into the club soon.

Kid Kelly and several other inductees, including sports talk personalities Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg, along with Classic Rock guru and consultant Fred Jacobs, will be enshrined November 14. Learn more here.
