This Saturday, November 9 at the U.S. Cellular Center, it's the "Hometown Heroes" concert, featuring Bret Michaels, Night Ranger, Lita Ford and Joe Nichols. Tickets are still available, check here for details.

Bret's using this opportunity to honor all the police and fire personnel, first responders, doctors, nurses, EMTs, veteran and military personnel, even teachers or any other everyday difference-maker. He asked for our help finding these folks in our community and we have.

Erika Derrick is a special education teacher at Washington High School in Cedar Rapids. According to Sarah Mason, who nominated her for this reward, the best words to describe Erika are "

superachiever, fighter, leader, compassionate, giving, selfless and HERO to many"

Congratulations to Erika on winning two tickets to the "Hometown Heroes" show, along with a meet and greet with Bret and special onstage recognition Saturday night.
