KDAT Top Teacher: Laurie Hyland of Tilford Elementary School in Vinton

104-5 KDAT is proud to congratulate this week's Top Teacher: Laurie Hyland of Tilford Elementary in the Vinton-Shellsburg School District!

Laurie was nominated by Sharon Koster, who said:

"As a volunteer in Laurie's 3rd grade classroom and having a grandson in her class, I have seen her in action first hand. As a former teacher, I appreciate how Laurie manages her classroom. She motivates each child to do his/her best and to meet their personal goals. Laurie is truly an exceptional teacher!"
